Picture boxes can be 'telescoped' together to create various sizes that will accommodate almost any picture or mirror. Plenty of cushioning should be used with these when packing pictures (either paper pads or bubble paper). Because of the need for cushioning, only one or two pictures can safely be packed into a box. For short local moves, picture boxes aren't needed--pictures can be put in your car (with cushioning between them) and driven to your new location.
